i died, and things got really blurry for a sec, i pressed a key and it started me over, so, i just thought "ok, it must just have an instant retry function", but then i noticed that i could only select magic and mercy, not act or item, and whenever i tried to use one of them a textbox popped up and it was just completely fucked, it looked like what happens when you manage to click all 3 buttons before alphys can interrupt you, eventually i noticed that by triggering a dialog box, i could actually select act [but for some reason, pressing left made your selector move to the right and vice versa, dunno why], so i did, and i hit talk, and after like, a split frame of messed up dialog box, it sent me into an attack where i was moving at basically super sonic speed and died almost immediately because of it, to which the same glitch happened again

is this an unintentional glitch, or just . . . meta shit?

the glitch just kept happening over and over, so i decided "alright, ill just close the program and open it again", and i actually got decently far on my second attack, before getting killed by the massive falling attack, to which i saw a blurry screen again, and when i clicked enter, i got this

ok, another glitch i found, if you die, and then spam enter, you can start the fight before the soul shatter animation can play, and when you do that, the soul gets replaced with just, a shard

Honestly, I really enjoyed it. Granted, I got 3 minutes of playtime since this isn't exactly a difficult game, which is a welcome change of pace, especially for those who may be newer. My only real complaint is that while most of the attacks were fair, for something of this difficulty just werent sight readable. The quick attacks are the kind of thing that you just have to get hit by to learn them. Also, a few attacks felt a little bland, but nothing egregious. Music is fine, nothing ball-shattering but its definitely not bad by any means. Art is pretty good as well and the dialogue is great for an undertale fan game (the bar is in hell).

I've worse games where you had to pay for em... but you, my friend, made actual pure cinema... jesus, the fact that this is free and everything. yes its short... but it dousn't really matter, its amazing, good work, Cross. (now that dousn't mean you have to make it payable to play XD)

probably one of the best fangames I've tried to date, the attacks are really cool and really fair. its not really hard, but not stupid easy, just a good mix to be fun. the music, effects and sprites are all so so SO cool too. and the ending was really threw me off too. easy 10/10 fangame would recommend

Not bad! Assuming that the fight's not done and it'll just hold you in an attack box indefinitely at some point, it has a reasonable difficulty level and looks pretty good!

Now a few personal hiccups: Checking Sans' stats, if this is post-attacks and his brother's the last one before the ruins, then Sans should have more than 1 ATK and DEF. I don't know the story here, however, so I wouldn't know where this fight is in your timeline. Papy could be the first victim, for all I know. Again, just a personal hiccup since I don't know the juicy lore~!

Secondly, not too much a fan of random-fire blasters. Can't learn anything if it's just gonna be entirely up to chance, y'know? It's not like those attacks were difficult however, so it'll probably be fine in the long run.

I'd include something blocking off the MERCY button! Probably nothing happening simply because of demo or your personal choice, but I think it'd just be a nice detail. No escape, no mercy.

And finally, just a temporary measure: something to tell us when the demo's over. Doesn't have to be anything big, just like an "END OF DEMO" or something in the final text box. Or you can have fun with it! Either way, just something to stop the future players from expecting more from the current build as it's somewhat dissatisfying for nothing to happen, y'know, y'know??

Regardless, good work! Looks like you're beginning to make something fun, so I hope you enjoy as much of the process as you can! Can't wait to see what you come up with!
